Warranty Policy


 

 

TO WHOM DOES THIS WARRANTY APPLY?

Nanny-Annie extends the following limited warranty to the original retail consumer only. This warranty shall be effective from the date of purchase via our website or a Nanny-Annie store. Claims can only be made under this warranty by the person who originally purchased the product. Once the original seller transfers ownership of the product to another person the warranty is void. The purchase receipt or invoice must be provided with other claim details.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER?

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

All Nanny Annie products come with a 1 Year Structural Warranty and a 3 Month Parts Warranty so you can shop with complete peace of mind.

The warranty period of the product starts as soon as the item has been delivered. We encourage you to check the product as soon as you receive it. If any faults are found you must contact us in writing within 7 days of receiving the product.

Some Products sold by us are serviced and supported by the manufacturer or supplier in accordance with the warranty information provided on the listing or with the product. If the manufacturer or supplier is unable to assist, and the product is covered by a statutory warranty, we will replace the item, issue a refund, or otherwise provide a remedy.

When you receive your goods it is expected that you inspect them before use. Where a fault is clearly visible we expect you to report it to us BEFORE YOU USE THE GOODS. If you report a fault that is clearly visible after using the goods we will assume the fault was caused by usage, meaning the warranty would not apply to the said fault. Any modifications or alterations made to the product will void the warranty.

Missing items

All Missing Item claims need to be reported to Nanny Annie within 7 days from the time the item/s is/are delivered/picked up. 

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER?

 Damage caused by:

  • Incorrect assembly
  • Inadequate Storage
  • Inappropriate cleaning products used
  • Misuse
  • Abuse or neglect
  • Failure to follow recommended maintenance guidelines                                                                         
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Rips, wearing, pilling, creasing, stains or fading of upholstered products
  • Fading or discolouration caused by excessive exposure to direct sunlight
  • Products not used for intended purposes of Domestic use
  • The product has been tampered or modified with in any way
  • Force Majeure

NB:  This 1 Year Warranty does not apply to any of our products that have been purchased for commercial use. The Warranty does not apply to Bonus/Free item/s included in our product.

Please note the warranty does not also cover

  • Travel and /or other expenses incurred to make the warranty claim
  • Cost of returning the product to Nanny-Annie and for the cost of having it delivered to you after the repair, exchange or refund (as the case may be)
  • Any loss directly or indirectly associated with the product failing to operate
  • Damage caused by misuse, incorrect operation, adverse weather and accidents
  • Cosmetic defects such as colour variations.
  • Bonus/Free item/s

In no event, Nanny-Annie is liable for incidental, compensatory, punitive, consequential, indirect, special, or other damages. Nanny-Annie have no liability for any loss or injury caused, in whole or in part, by its actions, omissions, or negligence, or for contingencies beyond its control. Nanny-Annie aggregate liability with respect to a defective product is limited to an amount equal to your original purchase price paid that defective product. 

Return Authorisation 

A Return Authorisation (RA) number is required for replacement Products and refunds.

Where Customer Service has provisionally determined that a Product is Dead On Arrival (DOA), we will issue you with an RA. Products cannot be returned without an RA. The Product should be returned to us within 30 calendar days of the issuance of the RA. Where possible, all Products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that are shipped with the Product. If the accessories are not included, only a partial refund will be applied.

Organising the Return of a 'DoA' Product

'DoA' Products must be returned whenever we agree to provide you with a refund or replace the Product.

Nanny Annie will provide a return label free of charge in the event that a product needs to be returned due to a warranty claim. 

In the event that a product is returned via return label and it is found to have no fault. The Customer may be asked to pay for the return label and the cost of sending the item back to the customer.

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM?

If you encounter a fault that you deem falls under this warranty you must immediately cease to use the product and inform us within 7 days. To make a warranty claim visit this page and submit all required information. You can also email to support@nanny-annie.com. In your email include:

  • Invoice or proof of purchase
  • A detailed description of the problem
  • Photos and/or videos

Once all the information is received it may take us up to 7 days to assess and get back to with a resolution. 

Please note: Warranty claims must be processed via email.

CLAIM RESOLUTION

In the event that a claim against this warranty is granted, Nanny-Annie reserves the right to choose whether the final warranty resolution is repair, replacement or refund. All costs to return the product is at the owner's expense. You must also post the product back to us within 7 days for assessment.

REPAIR

If we deem that the fault can be repaired it may take us up to 14 days to test and repair the product. The warranty period for the repaired product shall be only the remaining portion of the original warranty period applicable to such product.

REPLACEMENT

If we deem that the fault can't be repaired then we will provide a replacement. The replacement product can be refurbished or new, in the same colour or different, depending on the stock at hand at the time. In case there is no stock of any kind, then it could take us up to 8 weeks to get the item back in stock. The warranty period for the replacement product shall be only the remaining portion of the original warranty period applicable to such product.

REFUND

If we deem that fault can't be repaired and a replacement can't be provided then we will offer a full refund of the amount paid minus any transport cost that incurred to send the products to you at the time of purchase.
